Sync Audiences and Subscribers between Clerk and Klaviyo

Sync Audiences from Clerk to Klaviyo and Subscribers from Klaviyo to Clerk. This guide walks you through setting up the integration and syncing your data.

Klaviyo Integration

Our Klaviyo integration allows you to sync Audiences from Clerk to Klaviyo and Subscribers from Klaviyo to Clerk.

Clerk never pushes new email addresses to Klaviyo. We update existing contacts and lists, based on email addresses already in the platform.

Configure integration #

  1. Login to my.clerk.io

  2. Go to Settings > Integrations

  3. Click New Exporter and choose Klaviyo

  4. Login to your Klaviyo backend

  5. Go to COMPANY NAME > Account > Settings > API key

  6. Click Create API Key and name it Clerk

  7. Copy the API key to the API key field in my.clerk.io

  8. Click Update Exporter

The integration tab will turn green when everything works as expected.

Sync audiences #

When the integration is configured, each Audience can be exported by enabling the sync on their page.

Clerk will sync email addresses daily.
