Sync Data

Synchronize Audiences between Clerk.io and MarketingPlatform.

Integration Setup #

To maintain Audiences in a MarketingPlatform, you need an API username, , API Token, , and Contact List ID. .

  1. In my.clerk.io, go to Settings > Integrations and click New Exporter.

  2. From the dropdown, select EmailPlatform (alias for MarketingPlatform) and give it a name of your choice.

  3. API Username and API Token are generated by EmailPlatform on request. Contact their customer support and ask for a trusted API key.

  4. Add the API Username and API Token to the fields in my.clerk.io.

  5. Afterwards, go to the MarketingPlatform backend and navigate to Contact Lists > View contact Lists.

  6. From here, click Edit for the list that has your audience.

  7. Look in the URL.

    • It should look something like this: https://client3.mailmailmail.net/admin/index.php?Page=Lists&Action=Edit&id=12345
    • The last number in the URL after &id= is the list ID we need.
    • Copy this to the Contact List ID field in my.clerk.io.

  8. Click Update exporter in my.clerk.io to finalize the setup.

Audience Sync #

You can now create Audiences and choose Marketing Platform as an option under the Export tab of each Audience you create. This will continuously sync the Audience with the Marketing Platform, where you can send marketing to them.
